Warren Dahlstrom, FRICS
Warren Dahlstrom is a Principal in the Commercial Division at J Street where he applies his 30+ years of capital markets experience to the company’s commercial real estate team.  Throughout his career, Dahlstrom has represented owners and investors of institutional commercial property throughout the Washington, DC region and has sold, financed or built property valued in excess of $6 billion over more than 25 years.

Previous to J Street, Dahlstrom was a partner in Brookfield’s 34-partner global capital markets subsidiary, Brookfield Financial, where he expanded their US market presence. Prior to Brookfield, Dahlstrom served with Colliers International, where he managed 250 capital markets brokers as US President of Colliers International Capital Markets. Previously to Colliers, Dahlstrom served as Senior Director of Cushman & Wakefield in Washington, DC for 13 years, establishing the firm’s national Major Markets Group and was a top producer with annual sales topping $500 million.

Recent transactions originated and closed included:
•    $80M Joint Venture Development of The Boathouse Apartments between UIP and JP Morgan.
•    $200M Loan Sale in Las Vegas on behalf of two German lenders
•    $48M sale of the Kennedy Row Apartments on Capitol Hill for JBG/Tritec to Bell Partners.
•    $130M joint venture for Foulger-Pratt’s Thornton Apartments.

Dahlstrom, a native Washingtonian, lives in Arlington and has been married for 36 years to his wife, an architect. They have three adult children. He is a regular guest speaker at Georgetown University and Johns Hopkins in real estate and finance.
