1111 North Capitol Street, NE, Washington, D.C.
Partial conversion/renovation of existing warehouse and new mixed-use development
This project represented the redevelopment of an existing 167,000 sf warehouse structure currently occupied by the Smithsonian Institution. The plan preserved much of the original 4-story concrete and masonry structure (constructed in 1927), and incorporated it as part of a striking new mixed-use design with a Class A office building with retail elements. Designed to meet LEED certification, the plan is currently in its final steps of the historic preservation review process.  Read more.....
100 K Street, NE, Washington, D.C.
Originally planned and designed as a Class A office condominium, changing market demands in early 2011 led the ownership to believe that a sale as a residential site would be the best use for the property and a sales transaction for 100 K Street to a residential developer closed in August 2011.  Read more....

111 K Street, NE Washington, D.C.
This 11-story, 100,000 square foot condominium office building’s design incorporates a grand two-story lobby and a number of “green building” features. The project, in the vibrant NoMa community, offers convenient access to Metro, Virginia Railway Express, Amtrak, and MARC trains at nearby Union Station. It is also convenient to major  metropolitan transportation routes.  Read more....

Capital City Market
In its continuing efforts to discover emerging areas of the District of Columbia that would afford meaningful development opportunities, J Street set its sights on the Capital City Market area in the northeast quadrant of the District just to the northeast of NoMa. Capital City Market is bordered by the train tracks (ie, Third Street, NE) on the west, Florida Avenue to the south, Sixth Street, NE to the east and Penn Street to the north with an additional area bordered by New York Avenue and Sixth Street. J Street formed a joint venture with Edens  & Avant, a well known national retail developer headquartered in South Carolina with offices in the metropolitan Washington area, to assemble and develop this combined area of over 27 acres in Washington, DC. and has also reached a working agreement with Gallaudet University and with them, has contracted with nationally-recognized urban planner, Williams & Dame.  Read more....
